Technical Services is the behind the scenes of the library! Departments in Tech Services are Acquisitions, Cataloging, Processing and Repairs, Interlibrary Loan, and Serials. In Acquisitions, items are purchased for the Library. Items are cataloged, then processed for checkout. The library also has a repair department. In the Serials department, magazines are checked in, and processed. Interlibrary Loan is also part of Tech Services. We can request items from other libraries for you. We work as a team to provide patrons with materials they want and request.
