Teens and Young Adults

Youth Services Assistant Functioning as a library within a library, the Teens section has a wide variety of materials tailored to the needs of teenagers. Along with regular books, there are graphic novels, audio books, magazines, college catalogs, and reference materials just for you! We also do a variety of programs throughout the year just for the young adult audience. Please stop by and check us out!

	February 10: Valentine's Day Party. 3pm. Come to the library and enjoy some awesome crafts and learn some cool dance moves that are guaranteed to impress your Valentine! For ages 9-18.

Gaming!:
Teen Video Gaming: First Thursday of every month at 4pm. Various video games.	"Stop-by Gaming": Remaining Thursdays at 4pm. Various board games.

Creating an inviting atmosphere at the library by maintaining a safe, attractive teen area.
Promoting ideas in the young adult collection.
Promoting and encouraging reading by teens.
Advocating the rights of teens.
